As a co-founder of Input Capital, Brad Farquhar initiated and took public the world’s first agriculture commodity streaming company as a leading financing solution for farmers in Canada. After successfully deploying over $150 million into the space, the Company diversified into becoming one of Canada’s leading physical and cyber security companies called SSC Security Services Corp. (SECU.V). Prior to that, Brad was a founding partner at Assiniboia Capital Corp., and was instrumental in establishing Assiniboia Farmland Limited Partnership, leading to its landmark $128 million sale to the Canada Pension Plan Investment Board in 2014. Leveraging his experience as a senior political advisor, Brad has been involved in global election assistance projects, extending his expertise from the Former Soviet Union to Jamaica.

Brad sits on a number of boards including Plannera Pensions & Benefits, where he plays a pivotal role as a director and Chair of the Governance Committee. Plannera manages 12 pension plans and 23 benefit plans, managing approximately $15B in assets, including Canada’s largest defined contribution pension plan, with over 100,000 members. His governance acumen is further enriched by over 10 years of experience on the boards of publicly traded companies and his education which includes a Masters in Public Administration from Griffith University and a B.A. from Providence University College.
