Brent’s illustrious career in private credit began with co-founding Triangle Capital, a distinguished private credit investment firm, which marked its success with an IPO on the NYSE in 2007. Serving as the Chief Investment Officer, he was instrumental in growing the credit portfolio to an impressive $1 billion, holding both executive and directorial roles until 2016. His entrepreneurial spirit further manifested in founding Concentric Partners, based in Raleigh. Under his leadership, Concentric secured capital commitments of $266 million, augmented by leverage from the U.S. Small Business Administration. 

Brent’s expertise extends beyond Triangle and Concentric, as he is a partner at Sovereign’s Capital and plays a crucial role on its investment committee, guiding investment decisions to align with the firm’s strategy and vision. His commitment to integrating faith with business is evident in his involvement with various organizations that reflect this philosophy. Notably, he served as the Vice-Chairman of the Board at Regent College in Vancouver, demonstrating his dedication to merging professional achievements with personal values.
